SERVICE DESCRIPTION: Bayard house provides 24-hour residential program for pregnant women in a home-like atmosphere. Program includes housing: meals and nutritional education; birthing and parenting classes; educational and/or employment assistance; independent living/home management skills training; access to pre-natal care and pregnancy counseling; and information and referral to necessary social services.
DADS GROUP: Non-residential; addresses needs of young fathers, helping them to fulfill their roles and obligations.
ELIGIBILITY: residential program is for pregnant teens/young women 12 to 29 years. Referral services open to anyone.
