The Mom's House Program

    Mom's House offers single parents the opportunity to continue their education by providing childcare services free of charge.

    Mom's House combines a professional staff with qualified volunteers to operate a licensed daycare center.

    The director runs the daily operation of the center, manages and coordinates all aspects of the program.

    Mom's House maintains a 3:1 child/staff ratio. The dedicated individuals create the loving atmosphere for which Mom's House is known. Parents who are enrolled as clients in the program must be:

  •     Singled, widowed or divorced

  •     Registered as full-time students at either high school or college

  •     Unable to otherwise afford such an opportunity

Services

The Mom's House client is offered the following services:

  •     Free daycare for infants and toddlers

  •     Tutoring services

  •     Parenting classes

  •     Peer group support

  •     Education and career counseling

Client Contract

The Mom's House client agrees, through written contract, to the following:

  •     To attend school regularly

  •     To maintain passing grades in each subject

  •     To volunteer three hours per week at the center

  •     To attend bi-monthly parenting classes

  •     To assist with one fundraiser per-semester

Funding

Mom's House receives no government funding, and therefore relies on local organizations and individuals for support. Contributing to Mom's House changes the lives of two generations.

All donations directly benefit the Mom's House Program Services.
