Life's A Blessing is presented by the Social Concerns Committee of Holy Cross Catholic Church. Our mission is to provide accurate and truthful information about Pro-Life issues. In addition, we provide local and regional Pro-Life updates on news and events in Delaware and its surrounding areas.

March for Life: The March for Life will take place on January 22, 2010. Buses will be leaving Holy Cross parking lot after the 8 am Mass for Washington. Bus  cost is twelve dollars per adult. The cost of the bus is subsidized by the Spaghetti Dinner which the Knights hold each year. The money will be collected on the bus. Come and experience the enthusiasm of the pro-life movement. Our President and congressmen and congresswomen need to hear from YOU. We will make a stop on the way to Washington and a dinner stop on the way home. We plan to return between 7 pm and 8 pm. March for Life Spaghetti Dinner: A spaghetti dinner will be served in the Holy Cross Cafeteria on Sunday, January 17, 2010 from Noon to 5:30 pm. Proceeds are to help defray the cost of transportation to the “March for Life”. The dinner will consist of Spaghetti, meat sauce, garlic bread, dessert, and drink. Cost is $ 8.00 per person, ($ 4.00 for children age 6 through 11). Maximum charge is $ 24.00 for the immediate family, [Parent(s) and dependent children]. Any profit over the cost of the MFL transportation, will be donated to Pro-Life facilities in the area. Make checks payable to the “Life Care Center.” Please support this Pro-Life effort of the Knights of Columbus, Dover Council.

Reminder --- Prayer Vigil - On Thursdays immediately following 8 AM Mass at Holy Cross Church, there is a prayer vigil for life  at the Planned Parenthood of  Delaware building located at 805 S. Governors Avenue in Dover. Join us to help save lives. For more information click here.

Pro-Life State of Delaware License Plate - Choose Life Delaware, Inc. is a non-profit, all volunteer organization with an annual membership fee of $20. These fees are distributed to pregnancy help agencies within Delaware that promote adoption instead of abortion.
